1. They pique curiosity, and
2. They give the reader a reason to “see more.” Simple.Staying on hooks (sorry guys, we’re just so obsessed about them!) But, Naim Ahmed gives you the exact hooks that work in any niche. Steal them for your blogs, email subject lines or for your nephew’s 4th birthday invite.
“Simplicity” said Marcus Aurelius a thousand years ago. Roxana Irimia says it applies to good writing too – it is about being clear and specific. (Besides, we haven’t seen a simpler LinkedIn post in a while).
If you think your GTM strategy is all about sponsoring newsletters and podcasts, Rajiv ‘RajNATION’ Nathan calls bullshit on it! In 2009, Mailchimp grew its user base from 85K to 450K 😳. Alex Garcia breaks it down to 3 clear techniques::
i. Used a “Free Forever Plan” to give users a taste of what they could do with it
ii. Every “Free Forever Plan” had a logo at the bottom of the email. Imagine sending tons of emails with it. Talk about free ads, eh?
iii. “MonkeyRewards’“ referral program for paid users that let them keep the logo in exchange for $$$.As marketers, all of us love websites that dole out free stuff. So, Sally lists out 27 sites that give you breathtaking stock images and illustrations for FREE. (Reminder to self: Gotta check this out).
